1
Leadership & Personal Growth

Leadership & Personal Growth - Discover the importance of leading yourself well as the foundation for leading others. Through honest reflection, personal awareness, and practical tools for growth, participants identify areas of strength, growth, and opportunity. True transformation begins with the willingness to look inward, surrender, and allow God to shape us.

Thrive Community Church - Discover the heart, vision, and culture of Thrive Community Church. Participants will gain understanding of how Thrive operates, how ministries work together, how we create life-giving environments, and how we continually pursue excellence, growth, and Kingdom impact.

Spiritual Formation: Humility & Freedom - Explore how humility in Christ creates the foundation for spiritual maturity and freedom. Participants will learn how surrender, authenticity, and a teachable heart allow God to transform their lives and increase their ability to walk in purpose.

Develop Skills That Make a Difference – Learn practical tools for planning, teamwork, personal growth, and execution that will help you lead effectively, serve others well, and make an impact in your church, workplace, and community.
SUMMARY OF SEMESTER 1
Semester 1 establishes the foundation for personal transformation and Kingdom impact. Before we can effectively influence others, we must allow God to work within us. Participants will engage in self-reflection, personal development, and a deeper understanding of Thrive Community Church’s mission and culture. Through exercises, journaling, discussion, and practical application, participants move beyond gaining knowledge and begin embracing the process of becoming who God created them to be — equipped to grow, serve, and make a difference.

Biblical Worldview & Influence

Biblical Worldview - Develop a deeper understanding of what it means to see yourself, others, and the world through the lens of Scripture. Participants will explore how a Biblical worldview shapes decisions, relationships, leadership, and daily life.

Personal Development - Strengthen awareness of emotional, relational, and communication patterns that influence personal growth and relationships. Participants will discover practical ways to develop greater self-awareness, maturity, and healthier connections with others

Spiritual Authority - Grow in understanding of God’s design for spiritual authority and leadership. Participants will explore how to walk in alignment with God’s authority, lead with humility, and use their influence to serve others and advance the Kingdom.

Leadership and Influence - Learn how emotional health, spiritual maturity, and Biblical truth work together to increase your influence. Participants will develop practical skills for leading themselves well, building trust with others, and making a positive impact in their families, workplaces, churches, and communities.
SUMMARY OF SEMESTER 2
Semester 2 builds upon the foundation of self-awareness by developing greater emotional maturity, relational health, and Biblical understanding. Participants will explore what it means to live and lead from a place of truth, freedom, and spiritual alignment. Through personal reflection, group discussion, and shared experiences, participants grow not only individually but also in community — creating a culture of encouragement, accountability, and transformation. They continue becoming equipped to live with purpose, lead with integrity, and make a lasting difference.

Leadership In Action

Develop Core Leadership Practices – Learn and apply essential leadership principles including modeling the way, creating vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act, and encouraging the heart.

Deepen Spiritual Formation – Engage in guided study, reflection, and journal work through reading the specified books, fostering personal growth, freedom, and character development.

Explore the Mission and Ministries of the Church – Gain a deeper understanding of the beauty of the Church, worship, sacraments, ministry functions, and the mission of advancing God's Kingdom.

Apply Leadership Through Real-World Experience – Participate in a semester project, community outreach opportunities, fellowship events, and personal testimony sharing to put leadership into practice.
SUMMARY OF SEMESTER 3
Semester 3 equips students to grow as Christ-centered leaders by combining practical leadership training, spiritual formation, and hands-on ministry experience. Students will develop vision, influence, and organizational skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the Church’s mission, ministries, and role in advancing God's Kingdom. Through projects, outreach, discussion, and personal reflection, participants will be challenged to lead themselves well and empower others to make a lasting impact.

Lead with Courage and Vulnerability – Discover how authentic leadership is built through vulnerability, courage, and wholehearted living, while overcoming fear, shame, and self-protection.

Build Trust and Healthy Relationships – Learn practical skills for connection, empathy, active listening, conflict resolution, and trust-building in leadership and everyday life.

Develop Character-Driven Leadership – Explore the connection between personal values, behaviors, and leadership effectiveness, creating a foundation for integrity and influence.

Semester 4 focuses on helping you become a courageous, emotionally healthy leader who leads with authenticity, trust, and integrity. You'll learn how to navigate challenges, build meaningful relationships, communicate effectively, and respond to difficult situations with confidence and grace. Through personal reflection, practical application, and real-life experiences, you'll grow in both character and leadership, becoming someone who positively influences the people around you.
