HEART FOR THE KINGDOM
NEW KIDS PLAYGROUND
Kids have an “always-on” radar for awesome playgrounds. Even the one we currently have has been used to draw many of our current families into the church. From that point, our Go Team, who is always ready to serve others, has effectively been used by God to bring change to these families.
So when we say an Amazing, Super Awesome Playground is the next step in our vision, we are saying the should that will be brought in to Find Freedom and Make a Difference is what we really see, and the playground is the vessel.
NEXT GENERATION
Our Next Generation ministry is growing quickly, so we know we need to get ahead of the curve and make space for a new role on our staff.
We are reaching out to our connect churches in Dallas and Alabama to get references for the right Next Generation Pastor, who will carry the heart of our Senior Pastor and oversee all ministry leaders from pregnancy until we graduate students through college and see them placed into ministry and the workforce.
MINISTRY COLLEGE
We are partnering with our connect churches, Gateway Church in Southlake, TX, and Church of the Highlands in Birmingham, AL to continue education not only with our graduating students but believers of all ages. Through these partnerships, our plans are to establish lines of ministry opportunities for many Thrivers by setting up scholarships to help further the Kingdom of God and take the Gospel into the harvest field. YOUTH AND
MINISTRY BUILDING
We are looking to expand to a multi-use building to supply further the needs of our next generation, 11 to 16-year-olds. This will also serve mid-week as a "Strategic Planning" space for our upper leadership. This will aid us in Visioneering Thrive forward into all God has for us. Later, as we expand to a new Worship Facility, this building would then become an event space that can be rented out and used for our own celebrations in the future. We will also create rent space for young entrepreneurs in our area so we can intentionally reach that community for Christ.
NEW CHURCH BUILDING
Time passes fast, and so do missed opportunities. As our ministries are growing and our space is limited, we know that in the next five years, we are going to need to develop a solid plan for a new worship center and hand over our current one to the next generation, so it becomes a full Thrive Kids and Student building. In our future building, we will have a 500 seat worship space, nursery, discipleship classrooms, commercial kitchen, and renewed Thrive Cafe.
THRIVE CAFE AND MOBILE CAFE
Thrive Cafe is producing exactly what we knew it would! Lives changed and hearts connected to Jesus. We now realize that we are going to need more variety in seating inside as well as overflowing to the outside of our building. We plan to add covered seating outside so parents who bring their children to the super awesome new playground can invite a friend, relax and enjoy the best drinks and future sandwiches in town. We also are ready to take our missional coffee to the streets in our first Thrive Mobile Cafe. The vision is to reach people outside the walls at local events, festivals, and the Thrive-driven Fatih Fest in late October of each year.
DREAM CENTER
This is one of our most exciting vision items yet. Our new Thrive Dream Center! We are planning to make an excellent ripple effect for the Kingdom of God to reach many people groups. We see Thrive Tribes for the homeless, for broken and blended families. To provide free counseling and freedom sessions. We see a need to offer training and mentorship in worship, communication,, and business to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it. We will also be having interest and planning meetings soon to develop a Thrive Dream Center leadership team, and we would love to have you be part of it.
